Meaningful Youth Engagement for Decent Work

A video to explain a tool for designing youth employment programmes

Meaningful Youth Engagement for Decent Work is a training package designed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to help their staff and practitioners enhance youth engagement in employment programmes, with a particular focus on refugee and forcibly displaced youth.
The request was to create a short video based on the provided script to present the training package, but first and foremost the challenges it answers to: treating young people not only as beneficiaries of employment programmes, but also as contributors, partners and leaders in designing them.
The result is a 3-minute video which uses graphic facilitation and a clean visual style, with multiple characters and an attention to diversity and inclusivity.
